About My Services
I offer solely psychotherapy and parental guidance services. I do not conduct psychoeducational assessments for attention, learning disabilities or neurodevelopment conditions.
Parental guidance sessions can be held online although you are more than welcome in my office and I highly suggest at least one session in person.
I offer mostly in-person services to children where they are given access my playroom offering multiple resources to facilitate self-expression. My office is located in Montreal at 5765 Monkland Av, H4A 1E8.
Our sessions are mostly held during office hours.
I assign time slots that are maintained in my calendar on a weekly or biweekly basis (depending on availability and needs) to ensure the stability essential to follow-up appointments.
The time slots are assigned to new customers in order of priority, according to my availabilities. Our sessions are 50 minutes.
Our Fees are fixed according to the mandate.
My services are best serving families that…

Are curious about what’s underneath their children’s behaviour and what’s going on within the child-parent relationship. I do not believe in quick fixes to make the symptoms go away. We address the challenges in a way that supports the whole development of the child by uncovering what truly needs care and attention.

Want to provide a safe, pressure-free space of expression and understanding to their child and themselves.

Are willing to reflect on their own patterns of attachments and emotions and that are engaged in a process of growth to support their children.

Fully consent to the services; both parents and children have to voluntarily engage in the process of opening up and working through their challenges with a professional.
My services are not best for families where…

Severe behavioural issues in the child leads to ruptures of functioning that warrants ongoing collaboration within an interdisciplinary team of professionals.
My services could be included in such settings, but the limits of my functions would be clearly stated.

High conflict parenting requires mediation. See mediation program of the Ministère de la Justice du Québec.

Unstabilized mental health conditions and-or addiction with parents require individual services for parents.

Parents are looking for a strictly individual treatment for their child with no emotional/financial capacity to get involved as well . And that’s OK too. There are other types of services available in the public and private sector. See info psychosociale at 811, option 2 or ordrepsy.qc.ca
